Review Integrity Policy
How reviews and ratings are kept genuine, and what happens to those that are not.
Scope
This policy covers reviews, ratings and feedback collected through Etiquette Pulse AI, and how reviews from other platforms are shown. It works alongside the Review Guidelines at /review-guidelines/.
Definitions
A review is a customer's written or rated account of an experience with a business. A Pulse review is collected through our widget, forms or single-use links. An external review is shown from another platform, such as Google, and remains that platform's content.
What reviewers must do
Reviews must reflect the reviewer's own genuine experience. Impersonation, fabricated ratings, reviews written in exchange for payment or undisclosed incentives, and coordinated campaigns to raise or lower a rating are prohibited.
What businesses must do
Businesses must not write reviews about themselves or competitors, offer undisclosed rewards for favourable reviews, pressure customers, or ask for negative reviews to be removed only because they are negative.
Moderation
Content may be moderated if it is offensive, unlawful, reveals private information, or breaks this policy. A negative review is not removed merely because it is negative. Moderation decisions can be disputed through the grievance channel.
Operator responsibilities
Etiquette Technologies will apply these rules consistently, record moderation actions, and will not accept payment or a subscription in return for higher scores, better placement or the removal of legitimate criticism.
Limitations
We cannot verify every review. External reviews are shown as provided by their source and are not edited or endorsed by us. Guidance such as BIS IS 19000 is used as a reference for good practice only; this page does not claim certification.
